- Closely attached to its caudo-lateral part in ox, sheep, and goat

- In a horse, it is an elongated and somewhat pyriform sac.

- Open at the seminal clliculus just lateral to the ductus deferens (in ox, sheep, and goat)
- Open in common with the duct deferens as the ejaculatory duct on the side of the seminal vesicle (in the horse)

- Lobulated and having two lateral lobes in a horse
- Yellowish and globular in a dog

- Lies on the dorsal surface of the neck of the bladder and the origin of the urethra in the ox, sheep, and goat
- Lies on the neck of the bladder and the beginning of the urethra, ventral to the rectum in the horse
- Lies near the cranial border of the penis bone in the dog
